Last week, IM Industries travelled to Brussels to take part in the Creative Europe Cooperation Projects Grant Holders Meeting, organized by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency — EACEA.

Representing the OPEN RELIEF project, we joined cultural operators, project coordinators, and organizations from across Europe for two days of exchange, networking, and shared reflection on the future of European cultural cooperation.
The meeting brought together newly selected Creative Europe Cooperation Projects and offered an opportunity to connect with peers, exchange experiences, explore common challenges, and strengthen collaboration within the wider Creative Europe community. The program included thematic discussions on topics such as sustainability, culture at risk, diversity and inclusion, digital transformation, youth engagement, and the long-term impact of cultural projects.

For OPEN RELIEF, this was an important opportunity to position the project within a wider European context and to exchange ideas with other initiatives working at the intersection of culture, social innovation, community engagement, and resilience.
OPEN RELIEF focuses on empowering communities through open-source creative solutions for crisis preparedness and humanitarian innovation. Through the project, partners from Croatia, Greece, and Ukraine will work together with creatives, humanitarian actors, and communities to co-create adaptable, repairable, and locally relevant preparedness solutions.
We look forward to continuing the OPEN RELIEF journey and sharing more updates soon.
