The Blue Residency activity, part of the EU-funded WATERFRONTS project (www.waterfronts.site), is currently taking place in the Zadar area, Croatia. Running from early August to the end of October, this phase supports the artistic process of Croatian lead artist Anđela Bugarija, who is working in collaboration with a group of performing and visual artists.

During the residency, two interlinked works are being developed: one visual piece (a painting) and one choreographic work. These creations form a cohesive whole, exploring themes of environment, transformation, and the relationship between coastal space and collective imagination.

Both works will be presented to the public as one artwork, created within the frame of the WATERFRONTS project, during a Community Event in 2026.
